In Memory

Yesterday I got a call I didn't want to get. A call that caused me to spend the entire day in tears, only then followed with good memories which put me in tears again. Yesterday my family lost our almost 10 year old boxer Maddie Rose. She was the the best dog in the world. I don't remember ever being attached to a pet like I was to Maddie. She was the sweetest. I honestly don't have the words to say but my father does. If you've ever lost a pet you know exactly how we are feeling. Take a moment to read his beautiful words here.

Maddie we are so blessed that you got to be our dog and I know between the love you constantly received from all of us you led the best life. In less then a month we will return home to Montana. As I walk to up to my parents door you won't be there doing the wiggle dance to greet me. This kills me. I just loved you so much.

Losing a pet sucks.

  1. I am so sorry for your loss. We have a boxer and they are truly a special breed. Max is my first dog ever and I can't imagine losing him. I know that day will one day come and I dread it. Pets make our lives so much better and my heart is broken for you and your family today.

  3. I am so sorry for the loss of your Maddie. Boxers really are the sweetest dogs, my dad's family used to raise them when he was little. I hope today is better for you, and you can continue to remember all of the great memories with her :)
