That One Time I Flew in a Blackhawk
Yesterday will easily go down as one of my favorite days. It is one thing to be proud of your husband for all the hard work he did during flight school and that he now does as a Pilot, but it is another thing to actually get to see and experience it.
That is right. I flew in a Blackhawk. It was so cool. I honestly have no words. I'm just sad that this morning I don't get to go on another flight.
Montana from the air is absolutely beautiful. We got to go on a 30 minute flight that went through the Gates of the Mountains and followed the river. It was breathtaking.
Watching my husband in his element was so cool. He is living his dream. He was meant to be a Pilot and he knew it his entire life and now he is doing it. I totally cried yesterday. I'm just really proud of him.
Babe you are a badass and you flying a Blackhawk is quite possibly the sexiest thing ever. Haha. Just keeping it real.
I cannot thank the Montana National Guard enough for this experience. Your support for us spouses is amazing. I love being an Army wife.
