Make Up Monday: Summertime Favorites

I don't normally blog about make up. In fact most days I don't wear it, but when I do I like it to be top of the line. Over the past few weeks I have added so many wonderful things to my collection that I had to share them. First of all if I'm being honest it has taken me years to find the perfect foundation and I have finally found it in Urban Decays Naked Skin. It goes on so smooth and stays on all day. It is perfection. So is my mascara-- Lorac Pro. I have no eyelashes and this makes look like I at least have some! As for the rest of my beauty routine it is simple. A nude shade from the Naked basic eye palette, a swipe of my favorite NARS blush/ bronzer duo, summer pink lips with a nude gloss, and a spritz of Daisy Eau So Fresh and I am set!

I always am amazed at how far I have come sometimes. I remember when I was make up obsessed. OBSESSED. As in I couldn't leave the house without putting my face on. I didn't feel done up if I didn't have everything on and I would take a lot of time perfecting my eyeshadow to match my shirt. Now a days it is different. Now a days I'm lucky if I even have time to put make up on. But it is ok, I kind of like the natural thing. These days my make up routine is quick and easy because most the time Harper only allots me a minimum amount of time to get ready. My momsentials all consist of things that I can throw on quickly and that can perk me up the moment they hit my face or my hair. Without these things you would probably be able to tell that it has been a few days since I showered. It is a mom thing I tell ya. Sometimes you have to sacrifice and sometimes the sacrificed thing is a shower.
